ISAC6+

Few days ago, on  May 11th, 2012 at the central offices of the CECOT (Catalan consortium of business) was performed a presentation on e-procurement and its beneficial effects on the relationship between providers and public administration. 

The objective was to present the procedures for electronic contracting companies in the territory and local government providers.

Therein, was presented ISAC like a tool for make easier the access to e-trams.

After the success of the first conference on eGovernment aimed at professionals and citizens, the Town Council of Terrassa has started a second course of lectures.

On April 19, council experts in communication and social networks, and the president of the Rotary Club participated in a conference on social networks and their interaction in the relationship between government and citizens.

ISAC was installed in Saint Médard en Jalles website in july 2011 http://www.saint-medard-en-jalles.fr/

The search engine is visible and has taken the place of the old one.

Visitors are using it very frequently : more than 20 000 questions asked since july (. It is the first  used fonctionnality to acces to information in the website (ex 1900 questions /12000 monthly visits- dec 2011 )  30 % of the requests are done after offices opening hours

The Municipality of Saint Médard en Jalles (France) promoted last December, 12th 2011 a workshop at the aim to present iSAC to members of surrounding municipalities.

The Municipality of Bremerhaven (Germany) organized last February, 29th 2012 a workshop on "Innovative Citizen Services" at the aim to present iSAC to members of surrounding municipalities and members of the magistrate of Bremerhaven. This initiative is part of a dissemination strategy carried out by BIT to increase local authorities awareness about iSAC and support the enlargement of the community of iSAC users at the regional level. The Municipality of Terrassa, in cooperation with the City Hall of Manlleu (Spain) organized last March, 1st 2012 an event to present iSAC and to reflect on the role of IT Info Technologies for supporting Public Administration activities for citizens' information.

The department of the Gironde, one of the five departments of the Aquitaine region (France), has recently published on the web (http://www.gironde.fr)  a white paper focused on innovative project and initiatives carried out at the local level in order to increase online public services.
